At the Kosciusko Community YMCA’s LilyPad Café & Playcenter, kids ages 0–4 years old can explore, imagine, and have fun in a safe, engaging space—while parents relax just steps away with a cup of coffee from The River Coffee.

About the LilyPad
The LilyPad Café & Playcenter is a space designed for families with children ages 0–4 years old. Here, little ones can explore and play safely while parents take a well-deserved break—catching up on work, chatting with a friend, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The café is proudly run by The River Coffee, offering delicious drinks and a cozy atmosphere right inside the Y. Reservations are available, but walk-ins are always welcome as long as space allows, making it easy for families to enjoy playtime whenever it fits their schedule.

Our play area features imaginative play structures, sensory toys, and cozy reading corners—encouraging creativity, movement, and learning through fun. Each session is supervised by trained YMCA staff, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for your child.

Time & Pricing
TIME: 1–4 hours (prepaid and not prorated)
PRICING:
- Member: $10 per hour per child
- Guest: $15 per hour per child
Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance and are prepaid at the time of booking. You can reserve up to 14 days in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Playtime That Fits Your Schedule
Playcenter Hours of Operation
- Monday–Friday: 8 AM – 12 PM
- Monday–Friday: 1 PM – 5 PM
- Closed Saturday & Sunday
Each session offers up to four hours of play, giving parents flexibility while maintaining a fun, structured routine for little ones.
Sip, Snack, and Stay a While
The Café
Parents can unwind or stay productive at the LilyPad Café, located right next to the Playcenter. Run by The River Coffee, the café offers comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and a peaceful environment perfect for conversation, reading, or remote work. Guests are welcome to sit and use the café area anytime during open hours at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA.
The River Coffee is open:
- Monday–Thursday from 7 AM–1 PM and 4 PM–7 PM
- Friday from 7 AM–1 PM
- Saturday from 8 AM–12 PM.
For those needing more privacy, there are two private offices available for parents who have made a Playcenter reservation. These spaces can be used for quiet work, phone calls, or meetings during your child’s play session.

How to Reserve
Follow these steps to make your reservation online:
- Go to www.kcymca.org
- Click Sign Up for Classes
- Log in to your account. If you do not have an account, you can create one. You do not need to be a YMCA member to sign up for an account. (NEED HELP SETTING UP OR ACCESSING YOUR ACCOUNT? CLICK HERE OR VISIT THE PARKVIEW WARSAW YMCA WELCOME CENTER)
- Click Activities at the top right of the page
- Click Book a Reservation
- Click View Availability
- Select the day. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Enter your start time
- Enter your duration
- Click Select
- Choose the member on your unit you are making the reservation for
- Click Add to Cart
- Click Checkout
- Select Payment Method
- Click Pay Now
Your reservation is complete.
Important Notes:
– Parents must remain on the YMCA premises while their child is in the Playcenter.
There are no refunds for unused time once a reservation has been made.
– If a reservation is made for a child who is not between 0–4 years old, your account will be credited for the booking — no refund will be issued.
– Financial assistance is not available for LilyPad Café & Playcenter reservations at this time.
