Preschool Assistant, Special Education
The Preschool Assistant, Special Education creates an exciting, safe educational environment for children with diverse abilities. They possess a warm and supportive attitude toward children and are eager to help them thrive. They will assist in creating and implementing curriculum which follows set standards. They will provide a quality learning experience for one or two children at a time that focuses on the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Preschool begins in September. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am-11:30am and Monday – Friday, 12:30pm-3pm.
The schedule follows the Warsaw Community Schools calendar.

SilverSneakers Instructor (fitness)
We are seeking a welcoming and energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead SilverSneakers® Yoga classes designed for active older adults. This class promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness in a fun, music-filled group setting. This friendly, encouraging person will:
- Lead safe, engaging, and inclusive fitness classes for older adults
- Instruct SilverSneakers® Yoga (seated/standing poses, flexibility, balance)
- Provide appropriate modifications and chair support as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive environment for participants
Group fitness experience preferred but not required
SilverSneakers® certification preferred – YMCA will cover certification cost if hired
Classes are held Monday, Wednesdays, & Fridays 12:15-1:15PM

Swim Team Assistant Coach
We’re bringing back the swim team! The Assistant Coach provides a swim program individualized to the goals and ability level of the athletes. Through education, motivation, and leadership, Swim Team Coaches will collaborate with each other to assist youth in establishing and reaching their overall athletic goals in personalized and group-training sessions. Athletes will complete against other YMCA teams. Team practices are currently held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Rock Steady Boxing Coach
The YMCA is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Rock Steady Boxing Coach who provides excellent service to members in a safe, encouraging, and positive environment that promotes health, wellness, confidence, and quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and related movement challenges.
Rock Steady Boxing Coach training/certification preferred or completion of required training upon 30 days of hire.

Gymnastics Instructor
Do you have a passion for gymnastics and want to teach the next generation of gymnasts?! If so, join our team! Our Gymnastics classes range from teaching beginning skills for three year olds to getting gymnasts ready to join a team. Classes take place weekday mornings and evenings. Hours vary based on availability.

Child Watch Monitor
The Child Watch Monitor creates an exciting, safe environment for children while their parents work out. They possess a warm and supportive attitude toward children and are eager to help them thrive. They will assure parents that their children are well cared for in a secure environment and provide a quality experience for children that focuses on the YMCA core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Hours vary based on your schedule and our need, but we currently have openings weekday evenings 4pm to 8pm. Must be available to work one Saturday morning per month.
This is not a seasonal position so we are hiring someone who can work beyond the summer.

Kids’ Club Caregiver, 2026-2027 school year
We are currently hiring for Jefferson before school only. All other positions have been filled.
Kids’ Club is a before and after school program that takes place at local elementary schools and runs from 6am until school begins and after school until 6pm. Kids’ Club is more than childcare – the staff follow a schedule which focuses on STEM, the arts, health and fitness, and so much more. The Caregiver assists the Site Director in creating a pleasant inviting atmosphere in which children feel comfortable and secure. This person possesses a warm and supportive attitude toward children and strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, children, and staff. This person provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Working hours vary from 15 -30 hours per week.

Lifeguard, effective Fall 2026
This friendly, confident individual maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. They create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. and effectively communicate information on aquatics and other YMCA opportunities to members and program participants. American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required, but the Y occasionally offers certification opportunities for qualified candidates.
