ADULT SWIM LESSONS

This class is structured for students 17 and older who would like to learn to get comfortable in and around the water. Skills taught floating, putting face in the water, and learning basic strokes all while introducing swimming as a fun and healthy activity.

This class is structured for students 17 and older who have some comfort in the water and are able to float and have some basic knowledge of the freestyle and backstroke. They will be developing stroke techniques and gaining endurance to be able to swim laps comfortably in the pool. REQUIRED: Swim Cap and Goggles (Both males and females)

This advanced swim class is designed for adults who are already comfortable in the water and proficient in basic strokes but want to take their swimming to the next level. Whether you’re training for a triathlon, aiming to improve your lap times, or simply looking to refine your technique, this class offers structured, high-intensity workouts tailored to your goals..  REQUIRED: SWIM CAP AND GOGGLES (BOTH MALES AND FEMALES)

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS | AGES 3 – ADULT | This is the opportunity for you or your child to receive extra attention and practice. You can learn how to swim, perfect your technique or just get a little extra help. We may require a caregiver to accompany children who are unable to swim in the Semi-private lessons. Swim Instructors and pool schedules will determine private lesson time and availability. Lessons are for one person and semi private lessons are for two or three people that request together. The Y will not pair participants. REGISTRATION FORMS CAN BE FOUND ONLINE, NEXT TO THE PARKVIEW WARSAW YMCA FRONT GATE, OR AT THE PARKVIEW WARSAW YMCA WELCOME CENTER. COMPLETED FORMS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO WELCOME DESK. If inclusive support is needed please mark “Yes” on the registration form. Lessons are 30 minutes in length. RECOMMENDED: SWIM CAP AND GOGGLES (BOTH MALES AND FEMALES)
