VEX Robotics offers an exciting gateway into the world of STEM, giving kids the opportunity to explore robotics through hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration. Through designing, building, and programming robots, students not only gain technical skills but also strengthen critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are essential for success in the modern workforce.
JUNE- JULY
BATTLE BOTZ
Starting June 2, 2025, the Kosciusko Community YMCA is launching Battle Botz—a high-energy evolution of our VEX Robotics program that challenges students to design, build, and battle custom robots.
This hands-on program provides students with cutting-edge hardware, software, and resources to engineer their battle-ready bots. Along the way, they’ll develop critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation skills essential in today’s world.
Participants will put their creations to the test in friendly competitions, with opportunities to win prizes and earn certificates that celebrate their creativity and technical achievements.

VEX ROBOTICS
Vex Robotics is an excellent platform for kids to learn robotics in a fun, creative, and engaging environment. It provides students with the hardware, software, and educational resources to design, build, program, and compete with robots. It also teaches critical thinking, problem-solving, team collaboration, and innovation skills which are essential for success in the 21st-century workforce.
