Preschool Assistant, Special Education
The Preschool Assistant, Special Education creates an exciting, safe educational environment for children with diverse abilities. They possess a warm and supportive attitude toward children and are eager to help them thrive. They will assist in creating and implementing curriculum which follows set standards. They will provide a quality learning experience for one or two children at a time that focuses on the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am-11:30am and Monday – Friday, 12:30pm-3pm.
The schedule follows the Warsaw Community Schools calendar.

Downtown Branch Services Associate
We are currently looking for more Branch Services Associates to make the Downtown member experience even better. This person delivers excellent service and responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains a clean and inviting environment. Our 24/7 facility is staffed Monday-Friday 4pm – 8pm. Hours vary and are based on open shifts. Must be at least 18 years old for this position.

VEX Robotics Instructor
Are you passionate about Lego engineering, VEX Robotics, and working with children age 4-13? Can you collaborate and inspire by leading fun-filled lessons? Our VEX Robotics program may be a great fit for you! You’ll lead a group of children in the fundamentals of robotics including programming and coding. Classes are once a week on Monday evenings.

Inclusive Childcare Coordinator, Kids Club
The Inclusive Childcare Coordinator assists our childcare team by overseeing and guiding children with diverse abilities in Kids Club to ensure they successfully participate in the programs alongside their peers. This individual floats between Kids Club sites bringing stability to the children and creating a better atmosphere for everyone in the groups. The position is approximately 29 hours per week.

SilverSneakers Instructor (fitness)
We are seeking a welcoming and energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead SilverSneakers® Classic (muscular strength, movement, daily activity) and SilverSneakers® Yoga (seated/standing poses, flexibility, balance) classes designed for active older adults. These classes promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness in a fun, music-filled group setting.
Group fitness experience preferred but not required
SilverSneakers® certification preferred – YMCA will cover certification cost if hired

Enhance Fitness Instructor
The YMCA is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor to lead Enhance® Fitness classes for older adults and individuals with chronic conditions, such as arthritis by incorporating the use of chairs, soft ankle/wrist weights, and modifications as needed. This evidence-based program focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being in a supportive, adaptable environment.
Group fitness or senior fitness experience preferred but not required

Gymnastics Instructor
Do you have a passion for gymnastics and want to teach the next generation of gymnasts?! If so, join our team! Our Gymnastics classes range from teaching beginning skills for three year olds to getting gymnasts ready to join a team. Classes take place weekday mornings and evenings. We are currently hiring for mornings only
Kids’ Club is a before and after school program that takes place at local elementary schools and runs from 6am until school begins and after school until 6pm. Kids’ Club is more than childcare – the staff follow a curriculum which focuses on STEM, the arts, health and fitness, and so much more. The Site Director creates a pleasant inviting atmosphere in which children feel comfortable and secure. This person possesses a warm and supportive attitude toward children and strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, children, and staff. The Site Director provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Working hours vary from 15 -30 hours per week.

Custodian
This reliable, detail-oriented individual will ensure the facility is clean and free of safety hazards. Main duties are cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, including such duties as mopping, dusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting set up, snow removal, grounds keeping, and other related responsibilities. Current openings are weekday mornings 5am to 9am and weekday evenings for approximately 4 hours each evening. Hours vary between 10 – 20 hours/week based on your availability and open positions.

Lifeguard (beginning fall 2025)
This friendly, confident individual maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. They create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. and effectively communicate information on aquatics and other YMCA opportunities to members and program participants. American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required, but the Y does offer certification opportunities for qualified candidates. We are specifically looking for weekday closers until 8pm and weekends.
