What program should I sign up for? Will my child like swimming or gymnastics lessons? What are group fitness classes like? These are all questions many in our community have asked themselves before they sign up for YMCA programs or memberships and now you can answer those questions for free!
With our demo weeks, anyone in our community can come to the YMCA and experience swim lessons, check out group exercise classes, much more! ALL FOR FREE!
DEMO WEEK | APRIL 3RD – 9TH
STAGES A/B THROUGH STAGE 3 WARM WATER | AGES 6 MO. – 10 YEARS OLD
Come learn what it means to be in YMCA Swim lessons. Younger children will learn basic swim safety and how to be safe around the water. Toys will be set out and instructors will be present for questions and safety tips. NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

STAGE 3 THROUGH STAGE 6 LAP POOL | AGES 11 – 15 YEARS OLD
Learn what it means to be in YMCA Swim lessons. Older children will learn how they can be helpful in a water emergency situation. Flippers and other equipment will be available and instructors will be present for questions and safety tips. NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

GYMNASTICS OPEN GYM | AGES 6 – 17 YEARS OLD
During this time students are allowed to travel to different equipment at any time and practice gymnastics skills. On the floor, the students will be able to work freely on skills that they have mastered on their own. Students will be supervised by Y gymnastics instructors. The first 20 to sign up must sign up the day before the Open Gym. Only at 220 Parker St. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Get your Group Ex fix during our breaks with special programming. Enjoy a sampling of our best Group Ex classes in a 30-45 minute format. Everyone walks away with a bottle of water, a protein bar, and a good workout. Classes are first come, first served.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
- Body Sculpt | Using a range of light to medium weights and other exercise equipment, you’ll increase your heart rate for an effective fat-burning workout that uses muscular endurance to promote definition. Abdominal work included.
- Cycling | Enjoy our Matrix Coach by Color Bikes® and get an aerobic workout that’s easy on your joints. Our indoor cycling classes simulate outdoor riding with sprinting, hill climbing, and other techniques. Monday’s 5:30 PM class has a 30-minute workout geared towards beginners and then a regular cycling class follows for the final 30 minutes.
- Piloxing® | You’ll get a cardio fusion of standing pilates, boxing, and dance in this high-energy interval workout.
- Enhance®Fitness | Gets you moving! We’ll meet you where you are and help you gain strength, flexibility, and balance. Geared towards older adults, and those with chronic conditions, such as arthritis. We have chairs for support and soft ankle and wrist weights when you are ready.
- Step & Sculpt | Get your heart rate up using step aerobics and use a variety of exercises to tone and sculpt the upper, lower body, and ab muscles.
- Dance Fit | The hottest radio songs and Latin rhythms combined to bring you a fast-paced and fun, freestyle dance class and a calorie-incinerating workout.
- Yoga | Plenty of instruction will be given for a class that is balanced in strengthening and stretching. Participants must be comfortable down on their hands and knees in class and getting up and down from the floor.
- Silver Sneakers® Yoga | Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
- Mat Fusion | Work toward greater flexibility with stretching techniques and beginning yoga and pilates moves.
- Barre Blast | Combine dance-inspired barre work and light weights to sculpt lean muscle and strengthen your core in 45 minutes.

WATER WORKS | Using the freedom water can provide, our instructor will lead participants in a variety of activities to get those with special needs and their caregivers in motion. (Ages 13 and up). Warm Water Pool.
TONE & FIT | A low-impact, body sculpting class, using the resistance of the water. This class seeks to tone the entire body while strengthening and stretching muscles and building balance. Come be a part of a supportive, encouraging group and experience the positive enhancements of this class. Lap Pool.
WATER WORKS | Using the freedom water can provide, our instructor will lead participants in a variety of activities to get those with special needs and their caregivers in motion. (Ages 13 and up). Warm Water Pool.
