Monthly Fitness challenges are back in 2024! Some challenges will take multiple days, whereas other challenges can be accomplished in just a few minutes. Participants can win individual prizes, and each participant who completes all 10 challenges will be entered into a raffle to win a $250 gift card to Cloud 9 Multisport.
HOW TO REGISTER EACH MONTH | Visit the Wellness Desk and notify the fitness monitor that you want to participate in the challenge. They will add your name to the challenge board and you are ready to go!
HOW TO SHARE YOUR RESULTS | Show the fitness monitor your calories burned and they will add it to your total on the challenge board.
APRIL 22ND - 28TH
Complete 2,000 Mountain Climbers throughout the week of 4/22-4/28. Mountain climbers must be completed throughout the whole week. All 2,000 can be completed in small increments each day till 4/28. Must be completed at the YMCA location. Register at the Fitness Desk and tell them prior to your participation as well as show proof of the number of miles completed each day.
MAY 20TH - 27TH
Complete 100 Burpees throughout the week of 5/20/23. All 100 burpees must be completed by the end of the week and must be done at the YMCA. Register at the Fitness Desk and tell them prior to your participation as well as show proof of number of miles completed each day.
JUNE 17TH - 23RD
Complete 1 lap around the upstairs track performing walking lunges for every step. Completion will earn one entry to end of year raffle. Time to complete 1 whole lap will be timed, and fastest male and female will earn 2 entries for the raffle. Can be done at any Kosciusko Community YMCA location during the week of 6/17-6/23
JULY 22ND - 28TH
Complete 1 mile (2,000 steps) on the stair climber as fast as you can! Every completion will be award 1 entry to the end of year raffle. Fastest male and female timed finishers earn 2 entries. Can be done at any Kosciusko Community YMCA location during the week of 7/22-7/28
AUGUST 19TH - 25TH
Complete this Workout Of The Day: 500 meter row, 20 calorie burn on assault bike, and 25 ft sled push consisting of 4 total rounds to be performed once during the week of 8/19-8/25. Completion of this workout earns one entry for end of year raffle, fastest male and female times to complete challenge earn 2 entries. Must be done at our Parkview Warsaw YMCA location.
