Babysitter Training with CPR and First Aid

Babysitter’s Training at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA. This hands-on, in-person course is designed to prepare youth ages 11 to 16 with the knowledge and tools they need to care for children safely and responsibly. Whether you are just getting started or looking to take your babysitting skills to the next level, this training helps you stand out and be the best babysitter in the game.
Participants will learn how to care for infants and children through interactive lessons, videos, and guided practice. The course focuses on essential childcare techniques like feeding, diapering, holding, and engaging kids in safe and fun activities. It also covers leadership skills such as communication, setting boundaries, and handling conflicts calmly to create a positive and structured environment. In addition, participants will complete CPR, AED, and First Aid training, giving them the confidence to respond in emergency situations.
This one-day training is led in a supportive and engaging environment where participants can learn through real-life scenarios and hands-on experience. Snacks and drinks are provided to keep participants energized throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.
