HEALTHY KIDS DAY
WHERE SKILLS, CHARACTER, AND FRIENDSHIPS COME TO PLAY.
Join us on May 2nd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a fun, active, and family-focused day at the YMCA as we celebrate Healthy Kids Day. This free community event is designed to inspire kids to stay active, build healthy habits, and try new activities in a safe and welcoming environment. Bring the whole family and enjoy a variety of games, activities, and resources that support youth development and healthy living.
From open play on the turf to organized sports and interactive experiences, there is something for every child to enjoy. Parents can also connect with local organizations offering valuable resources and support for families in our community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Kids will have the opportunity to run, play, and explore through structured and unstructured activities throughout the event. Whether they are kicking a soccer ball, participating in a PE-style class, or enjoying creative crafts, every activity is designed to encourage movement, confidence, and fun.
Families can also visit parent information booths featuring local partners who provide support and services for children and families. It is a great chance to learn, connect, and discover new opportunities right here in our community.
EVENT SCHEDULE & ACTIVITIES:
OPEN PLAY ZONE | 11 AM – 1 PM
Jump in and get moving with open field play all event long. Kids and families can run, kick, throw, and explore a variety of fun, self-guided activities designed to keep everyone active and engaged. No schedule, just nonstop fun.
SOCCER | 11 AM – 12 PM
Join our YMCA staff for a high-energy soccer experience focused on basic skills, teamwork, and game play. Perfect for all skill levels.
PE CLASS EXPERIENCE | 12 PM – 1 PM
A fun, fast-paced class featuring classic PE-style games, relays, and group challenges that keep kids moving, laughing, and building confidence.
FAMILY RESOURCE & ACTIVITY HUB

HANDS-ON CRAFT STATION
Kids can get creative with a fun craft activity designed for all ages. A great space to slow down, create, and take something home.
