Diversity Discussions

Something for everyone

Date Details: February 20th — 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Understanding Global Religions and Their Practices

This installation of Diversity Discussions will feature a panel discussion with representatives from the following faiths: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism.

Dr. Allyn Decker, Vice Chancellor and Campus President of Warsaw's Ivy Tech Community College, will moderate the discussion. All are invited to attend and share in this educational opportunity. A light snack will also be provided.

Mission: The current state of the nation and world-at-large reflect polarized views of life, belief structures, and ideas. Diversity Discussions create a safe environment and platform to learn about various current topics. We hope to promote inclusion and a better understanding of all people, making our community truly a place for everyone to live, work and play.

Not only is the YMCA a place to work out, it has become like a second home. A place where the kids look forward to coming, a place where we as a family have come together to better ourselves.
