If you need help staying motivated and need some guidance to maintain discipline in your workouts, try one of our fitness incentives. Just for members, these incentives are offered throughout the year, giving you a challenge to complete in a certain time period, usually ranging from 6-8 weeks. You’ll log times or distances at the Wellness Desk and if you complete the challenge, you win a prize.
Always wanted to try the Couch Potato Challenge but didn’t want to tackle a full Ironman on your own? Form a Recliner Relay team! Teams of three will each pick a section of the triathlon: swimming, biking, and running, and each racer will complete their portion of the race. Great for those new to exercise that want the challenge of completing an Ironman but the support of teammates along the way. Teams that complete the challenge will earn a free t-shirt.

Compete in your very own Ironman by completing 2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles of biking, and 26.2 miles of running. Finishers will receive a free t-shirt.

Take the leap to become STRONGer in 2021. Six weeks, 20 minutes a day, five days a week. Throughout the six weeks, you will receive three weekly challenge messages. Mondays for motivation, Wednesdays for encouragement, and Fridays for celebration. When you join this challenge you will receive a tracking calendar, a STRONG calendar of events, and access to our virtual group exercise classes taught live by our YMCA instructors or you can attend the classes in person either through your membership or with a free guest pass. During the challenge, each registered participant is allotted one FREE guest pass per week. This guest pass can be used for yourself if you are not a current Y member, or for a friend, if you are already a member. Take the challenge, have some fun, and discover what it means to be STRONG.
