Corporate Challenge

Friday, April 6, 2018

The YMCA’s Corporate Challenge, for the businesses of Kosciusko County, is offered to increase engagement in health and fitness activities, to build employee pride and dedication and to develop community spirit among coworkers. Participants spend quality time together working as a team, outside of the normal work environment. This year’s participants so far are Applied Thermal Technologies, DePuy Synthes, Lake City Bank, Orthopediatrics and Warsaw Community Schools. There’s still room for more organizations if they register by April 19. The Opening Ceremonies and the first set of events of the Corporate Challenge will take place the evening of Thursday, April 26. Other events are scheduled for the evening of Friday, April 27, all day Saturday, April 28, and the afternoon of Sunday, April 29. Awards will follow the last event on Sunday. The 16 competitions include Tug-a-War, Corn Hole, Kickball, 5k Walk/Run, Basketball and more. A new event this year, is Badminton.
