Creative Level Programs
Pee Wee Tennis (Gr.2-5)
This level is for establishing movement skills, hand-eye coordination, games with a focus on motor skills. Here the fundamentals of strokes, an understanding of scoring and of the tennis court are developed.

Future Level Programs
Elementary Beginner, Middle School Beginner, High School Beginner
These programs have a strong emphasis on the fundamental skills of the game; strokes, movement skills, hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Serve, return of serve, and use of Continental grip are high priorities and will be used as determining factors of the student’s progression. Average time spent in each level is two to three complete sessions, determined by player’s ability.

Challenger Level Programs
Middle School Experienced, High School Experienced
Students are taught the fundamentals of strokes, movement skills, positioning and strategy. Emphasis in this class is geared toward preparation for middle and high school match play, as well as preparation for those looking to advance into the Tournament Training Program.

Tournament Training Programs
Academy Tour, Academy Futures, Academy Challengers
These programs are for the students preparing for tournament, high school and collegiate competitions. A commitment is required by the students to participate and all players are to be evaluated by the Head Professional before acceptance. Students will participate in on-court /off-court hours, physical fitness preparations, hitting sessions, and match play experience.

Summer/Winter/Spring Break Camps and Clinics
During breaks from school, the YMCA will host specialty camps and clinics for children of all ages. More information can be found at the Racquet Center’s Front Desk.
