Indoor Triathlon
Participants will swim 10 minutes (Pool), bike 30 minutes (in the Indoor Group Cycling Room on our CycleOps Bikes), run 20 minutes (treadmills in Fitness Center). Participants will receive a five minute transition after the swim and a three minute transition after the bike. Total distance will be calculated for each event (Swim, Bike, Run). Performance is measured by total distance covered in the time allowed; the participant to cover the most distance will be the winner. Scoring will be separated into two groups – Individual and Relay. Relay teams may consist of two or three members. Two person teams will have one member participate in two events. Awards will be given. Start times are staggered. Each racer receives a unique start time prior to the race. This event will be limited to the first 60 individual participants and 15 relay teams.
