Building Supervisor

This friendly, observant person needs to be an authority figure who is not intimidated when facing confrontation, but does it in a compassionate, respectful and creative manner. The person provides a quality experience for members through the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring. This person meets needs and takes care of any issues that arise in the absence of management staff, ensuring that all staff, members and guests are following YMCA policies. This person should be hard-working and productive, showing initiative in evaluating needs and finding solutions. The end results of this position are satisfied, safe members and directed, effective staff. Available shifts Fridays 5pm - 9pm and weekends.

Child Watch/MG Caregiver

The YMCA provides two options for kids to hang out while their parents work out. The Child Watch/MG Caregiver provides a safe, warm and welcoming environment for all children and parents. Provides a quality experience for children while their parents work out at the Y. Child Watch/MG are open Monday thru Saturday, 8:30am to 1pm, and Monday thru Friday, 4pm to 8pm (7pm on Fridays). Hours vary based on availability

Custodian

This reliable, detail-oriented individual will ensure the facility is clean and free of safety hazards. Shifts vary throughout the day. May include some weekend shifts. Hours vary between 10 - 25 hours/week based on your availability. Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including such duties as mopping, dusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting set up, snow removal, groundskeeping, and other related responsibilities.

Engagement Coach

Provides guidance to YMCA members in the wellness center, group exercise classes, pool and other areas as guided by member's requests and Listen First discussion. Provides sound wellness advice, a welcoming, supportive environment, and an overall exemplary experience for all members. Times vary throughout the day.

Fitness Center Monitor

Monitors the fitness center equipment and provides excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Hours needed are weekdays, 2-6pm or 6-9pm.

Group Exercise Instructor, Active Older Adults classes

The Active Older Adults Instructor will lead group classes in a welcoming, supportive environment and be sensitive to the individual needs of the participants. Class times are weekday mornings.

Gymnastics Instructor

Instructs group classes, provides excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Hours are less than 10 a week in the evenings and some mornings.

Assists the Director of Inclusive Programing and Inclusive Programming Coordinator by introducing, providing, and growing excellent programing to members and program members with special needs in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Hours vary based on program schedule.

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas.
