A Kids' Club Caregiver, 2017-2018 school year

We are now hiring for the 2017-2018 school year! the Caregiver ssists the Site Director in the supervision and management of the site creating a pleasant inviting atmosphere in which children feel comfortable and secure. Building Supervisor

This friendly, observant person needs to be an authority figure who is not intimidated when facing confrontation, but does it in a compassionate, respectful and creative manner. The person provides a quality experience for members through the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring. This person meets needs and takes care of any issues that arise in the absence of management staff, ensuring that all staff, members and guests are following YMCA policies. This person should be hard-working and productive, showing initiative in evaluating needs and finding solutions. Child Watch/MG Caregiver

The YMCA provides two options for kids to hang out while their parents work out. The Child Watch/MG Caregiver provides a safe, warm and welcoming environment for all children and parents. Provides a quality experience for children while their parents work out at the Y. Child Watch/MG are open Monday thru Saturday, 8:30am to 1pm, and Monday thru Friday, 4pm to 8pm (7pm on Fridays). Hours vary based on availability

Custodian

This reliable, detail-oriented individual will ensure the facility is clean and free of safety hazards. Shifts vary throughout the day. May include some weekend shifts. Hours vary between 10 - 25 hours/week based on your availability. Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, including such duties as mopping, dusting, and trash removal. May complete duties related to window washing, meeting set up, snow removal, groundskeeping, and other related responsibilities.

Director of Youth Development - full time position

We are currently looking for a full-time Director of Youth Development who will directly oversee Kids Club, Camp Little Eagle, After School Enrichment Program, Kosciusko County Promise and Child Watch and Multi-Generational Rooms. This person will develop, organize and implement high quality YMCA children, teen and family programs with a focus committed to strengthening community.

The essential functions are:

1.Manages, directs and coordinates Kids' Club (Before and After School Program), School Break Camps, Camp Little Eagle (Summer Day Camp Program), After School Enrichment Programs, the Kosciusko County Promise and Child Watch and Multi-Generational Room.

2.Ensures high quality programming and establishes new program activities that meet YMCA objectives. Expands programs in accordance with strategic and operating plans.

3.Organizes and plans a family/youth special event four times per year, once per quarter.

4.Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.

5.Develops and monitors program budget to meet fiscal objectives.

6.Develops and maintains relationships with school administration, parent groups and other organizations and agencies related to assigned programs. Responds to all agency, parent and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.

7.Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.

8.Maintains proper records, department files and equipment.

9.Compiles program statistics. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program.

10.Assists in YMCA fund raising activities and special events.

Member Engagement Associate

Delivers excellent customer service in promoting YMCA memberships, programs and services to advance the mission and strategic goals. Serve as first contact for prospective and new members, determines their needs through interview process and offers solutions and options to meet their needs and expectations. Engages all members by providing support in all aspects of their membership. Current needs: weekdays 4-8pm and weekends.

Delivers consistent, excellent service to members and guests. Qualities needed: friendly, detail oriented, team player, teachable spirit, patience and flexibility. Need to be able to absorb lots of information daily and deliver that info with a smile to every customer. Hours currently needed: weekdays 5am -9am and 1pm-5pm. Must be willing to work 2 weekend shifts per month as well.
