Not only does the Y provide an opportunity to invest in our physical health, but our emotional and spiritual health as well.
Every member of our family enjoys coming to the Y and participating in the wonderful programs! That can be a challenge as kids get older and have special needs. The inclusive programming and staff have been a huge blessing to us. Not only does the Y provide an opportunity to invest in our physical health, but our emotional and spiritual health as well.
My husband and I participated in the Engagement Coaching. It was a great way to assess our health, set some goals, and be introduced to the equipment and classes at the Y! Mat Fusion class is my favorite! It has helped my blood pressure and joint issues. Our youngest (age 13) enjoys the track and basketball court. Our oldest, a young adult, has benefited from the inclusive programming - Performing Arts Class, Music and Movement, and Social Skills allowing her to feel valued and develop independence in her own classes! So we say to the Y: "Well done in maintaining a great facility and caring staff!"
Not only did I want to play and run with my kids, but I wanted to live. Not exist like I have been for so many years, I wanted to live life and do all the things I've wanted to do or used to do
