Payment Option #1
Members may pay for one year in advance (joiner’s fee plus monthly rate x 12). Payment must be paid in full at the time of sale by Visa, Mastercard, check or cash. Refunds will not be issued for months not used.
Payment Option #2
Members may choose to pay using the convenient monthly EFT plan. The joiner’s fee and a prorated amount for the current month are paid upon joining. Monthly payments will then be automatically deducted around the 10th of each month from your savings account, checking account or Visa/Master Card/Discover.
All new members and those rejoining after a 30 day period must pay the joiner’s fee.
Corporate Memberships
Corporate memberships provide a company’s employees with a 10% discount off the normal membership fees. Companies pay an annual fee based on the number of active employees at the time of enrolling and/or renewing. For more information on corporate memberships please contact our Membership Director.
Guest Passes
Guest Passes are available at the Welcome Center for one day use of the facility. Passes are available for Youth, Adult and Family.
Members Who Bring a Guest
Guests who visit the KCYMCA with a member will receive a guest pass for half the regular price.
Guest Pass Punchcards
The Guest Pass Punchcard is a convenient solution for community members wishing to use the facility several times. Guest Pass Punchcards provide adults access to the facility ten times for $50.00 and youth for $25.00. Cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Transferring & Canceling
Memberships are nontransferable. All bank draft memberships automatically renew and must be cancelled in writing at the Welcome Center before the last day of the month to take effect the following month. Annual memberships will automatically cancel if not renewed by the termination date.
The YMCA reserves the right to change membership and program fees. Members will receive a written notice approximately 30 days prior to any membership rate change.
Refunds
All membership and enrollment fee payments are nonrefundable. All class refunds, transfers and credit requests must be made at the Welcome Center before the end of the registration period. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel any program if enrollment is insufficient. In the event of cancellation by the YMCA, a full refund or class credit will be provided.
Membership Leave of Absence
Members may take a leave of absence from KCYMCA for a period of 2-6 months by placing their membership on hold for a small fee. During the “on hold period” the entire membership is inactive and the member is without the benefits of membership.
Membership Card Policy
Your membership card is what gives you access to the facility. For safety and security purposes please have your card with you every time you enter the YMCA and scan one card for each family member. If your card becomes lost or stolen it can be re-issued for a small fee.
Away Program
The Always Welcome at YMCAs (AWAY) logo on your membership card entitles you to visit participating YMCAs in other cities when you are traveling. Some extra fees may apply. You may find any YMCA in the US by calling (800) 333-YMCA or by visiting www.ymca.net. AWAY guests using the Kosciusko Community YMCA will be allowed 3 free visits a year with half priced guest passes after the three visits are used.
