We take the YMCA's Mission, "To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all" and the Christian aspect of our heritage seriously here at the Kosciusko Community YMCA. We have a chapel dedicated to prayer, fellowship, Bible Study and reflection and a full-time Chaplain position.
Churches are invited to be partners with the Y in holding Bible studies, providing volunteer chaplains, reading to our kids in Child Watch, and giving a Bible lesson to our summer camp. If your church would be interested in working with the Y to reach the community with the Gospel, contact our Director of Christian Emphasis, Matt Goebel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Social networks and adult learning activities that bring together people who share common passions and personal interests, engaging spirit, mind and body.
The Y has really changed my life. I have made many friends. I became friends with some of the staff who ask about me when I am not there and if everything is alright. The Y is a big part of my life. I feel like family and at home at the YMCA.
